Approver Defaulting

Hi,

I have the next scenario.

Org.Unit of level 2 contains two approvers of level 2.

While requesters shopping default approver is always the approver with the position ID higher. I would like to default the other approver.

There is a way to establish a default approver within a node. ( Without using change approver button, I am referring to defaulting an approver)

Hi,

If there are 2 managers in the Org Unit, both managers receives the workitem. When one of manager complete the workitem, the workitem is removed from other manager's inbox.

How many approval steps do you need ? Is it 1 step approval or 2 step approval?

Who should be the approver ?

For example,

Org Unit 2

- Manager 2A

- Manager 2B

+ Org Unit 1

- Manager 1A

- Manager 2B

- Requester 1

First of all I want to thank you for the feedback.

We have set up three levels of approving.

The process you describe corresponds to the buyer/purchaser, but for approving SC is sent only to one approver for level.

Thanks for your interest and efforts.

I have already solved the issue.

If it is useful for others:

Within a org.unit with two or more approvers, SAP retrieves as a an approver the position wiht the lower ID. Then SAP searchs for the user assigned into this position and this is the user determined as an approver.

Positions and User are fully independent, hence you can move a user into the position desired.

I have just exchanged the position ID of the Users.
