service PO qty more than PR

Hi,

My problem is, system allows me to make service line item quantity more than that specified in PR, when i am making PO with reference to PR.

Pl tell me how i can stop this so that PO service qnty can not increase by PR quantity.

Look at implementing message 06 589 Materials/services of purchase requisition & & already ordered in full. This is probably the one for you to implement.

If you are using item category D, the above solution will not work if you want to convert one PR into multiple POs.

Better solution is to use an user exit in the PO to check.
