Connecting to oracle database of IDES system through db2 database of BW sys

Hi All,

In our landscape we need to access oracle data from the IDES system through the BW system which has DB2 database.

Both the systems are on Windows 2003 OS.

I go through the SAP notes 12393786 and 200164.

But unfortunately I am unable to understand what did the note says and how to connect these two database through Tx DBCO.

Please help me out.

You can connect it as above.

There may be other methods though.
