CAT5 : transfer to project system

Pls tell me how CAT5 works,

where can u c the result of the same.

Hi Prerana,

Though your qn. is not very specific... this is the way CATS works,

First you have to book the time in the project by making an entry in CAT2 using Data Entry profile & Personnel no. After that it will be approved by the concerned approving authority using CATS_APPR_LITE then it will be transferred using CAT5. You can see the results using CATS_DA.

Hi Prerna,

In cats employees book their time sheet in cat2. after that these timesheet are approved by project manager in cats_appr_lite. after that thru cat5 cost of these timesheets are transfered to project. if u wanna see the the effect of cat5. in ur project u can see the report planned /actual thru and there are several report where can see the planned and actual figures . In this report actual cost is coming via cat5. one std report is s_alr_87013531. check this.

Hi,

if u have booked time for network activity with work center ,activity type in CAT2.

Then after CAT5, the actual cost will be posted against the WBS element.

which u can see in the CJI3 report, for that wbs element.
