Issue while printing ' & ' in the text

Hello,

In a particular transaction there is a text field where the user could enter unlimited text. I have developed a smartform to display the texts. I wud explain the problem with an example.

Text : " On the Insert tab, the galleries include items that are designed to coordinate with the

A&B etc "

Print Preview : " On the Insert tab, the galleries include items that are designed to coordinate with the

A<(>&<)>B etc "

Has anybody come across such an issue earlier??

Hi,

Are you using "include text" in text type option?

If not try to print this text by include text.

write A<(>&<)>B in your text, thenm it will display fine.

hmmm thats quite weird. The signs "<(>" and "<)>" tell the sapscipt interpreter not to interpret signs standing between them and print them like they are.i dont really have any clue why things are working the other way round in your scenario.

Dear Nayan,

You can try A '&' B.

instead of using A&B.
