WAS path : sap/bc/bsp/sap/

WAS protocol : http

Integrated ITs

ITS host: http://<washost>.<domain>.com:port

ITS path: sap/bc/gui/sap/its/

ITS protocol: http

from transaction sicf in BW system I have tested the service

sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui to see whether its activated it is working.

What seems to be the problem

Raja. I am getting the following error for both WAS and ITS when I do a connection test in EP

Results

1. The system object represents an SAP system.

2. The following parameters are valid: wap.ITS.path (sap/bc/gui/sap/its/) ; wap.ITS.protocol (http) ; wap.ITS.hostname (http://washost:port)

3. HTTP/S connection failed. Make sure the protocol, host name, and user mapping are correctly defined.

hope you have maintained user mapping properties, and alos if this is user ID/PWd then you have maintained user mapping for the same.

You need to first configure your system for SSO,

For basic idea refer following help link:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/4d/dd9b9ce80311d5995500508b6b8b11/frameset.htm

there are lots of documents/discussions on SSO you can search and use them for SSO configuration.

refer:

After that go to system definition in portal and set user managerment: logon method as SAP logon ticket.

this will do the job.

Hope this helps.
