Hi guys,
I want to upgrade SAP GUI on my laptop from 620 to 640. There are a lot of existing systems and i dont want to put them all back. Can i upgrade without uninstalling the 620 and installing the 640 version? If there is a way please let me know.
Thanks in advance
Cyrus
Thanks Rich. I have successfuly upgraded from 620 to 640. Now I would like to apply the latest BW patch to my frontend. How is that done?

Hy Cyrus,
if you have installed the BW Add On for the GUI, just
download the appropriate patch from the SAP Service Marketplace (depending on which version of BW you have installed) and run the file. If you havn't, run the GUI Setup, select "add components" and install the BW Add On. Then run the BW patch.
Hth,
Stefan
When upgrading to 6.40, the installation will remove the old gui, but it will keep your systems settings. So... no worries.
