Error in Process : Changing Account assignment in PO

Hello SRM Consultants,

I am facing an issue when I have a SC (for service item) with cost center as account assignment and a PO is created from that.

I have still not done any confirmation and invoicing on this PO.

When I want to change the account assignment from cost center to Internal order in PO and try to order it, the PO goes to error in process status and gets stuck up

RZ20: Account assignment category cannot be changed for limit items.

Is this the standard behavior and I cannot change cost center to Internal order in Purchase Order?

Hi Mitesh,

If you want to change costcentre to internal order.please Change the product category and reorder the PO.

Hi Check in srm/ spro what the combination of aac and ic area allowed and also in ecc. If the aac = CC is not allowed the Po will go into error. Inroder to rectify this error you will have to back all changes in the same sequence.
