Put In Process in Gray field In Notification

Dear Sir/mam

we use general notification and once the notification is closed we dont want to reopen,in document there is two field with put in process and postpond so i we want to make this field disable can you guide for making this field disable in notification

Regarding QM Alerts

We did is through Alert Management system and with ABAP Help integrating it with UD codes.

But there are standard mails triggering system in config setting itself. you can check them SDN forum itself

Thnx for the promt response i would be highly oblige if you guide me in this,bcoz my concern as per our policy if material that in-house production if material is rejected we cannot put the stock in block,is any other way that production order itself get cancelled as soon i put the stock in block.Please guide its highly concern.

You are absolutely right. You have to choose quality notification. once status profile is created you should assign this to the notification. this can be done in

SPRO > QM>Quality Notifications> Notification Processing> Status Management>Define Status Profile>Status Profile for Notification Type

This is not user specefic. If you want to user specefic setting then you should go for ABAP development with exits.

Please do this setting for the status profile

1)

Status Number : 1

Status : INIT

Short text: notification initialised

Initial stage : tick

Lowest : 1

Highest: 10

position : 1

priority : 1

Double click on the status and maintain in business transaction

Put notification in process : Tick Allowed and No action

Complete notification : tick Allowed No action

2)

Status Number : 2

Status : NOCO

Short text: notification Completed

Lowest : 2

Highest: 20

position : 1

priority : 1

Double click on the status and maintain in business transaction

Complete notification : tick no influence & Set

Put notif. in process again : tick Forbidden & No action

Post pone notification : tick Forbidden & No action

Please check this and revertback

Please create a status profile and assign this to the notification .

You need to use only one status such that when the notification is in Complete stage forbid Put in process Again and Postpone.
