EHP1 upgrade process

Hello Everyone,

Need your suggestions and help

Currently we are running SAP Solution Mnagaer on SP15 and are going to upgrade to EHP1

Our current SPAM version is 31 with latest kernel 201 and MSSQL server

Now this is what our plan is for EHP1

a.maintenance cert deployment in SMD

b.SPAM/SAINT upgrade to 34

c.Kernel upgrade to 7.01

d.ST-ICO upgrade to 15

e.Start EHP1 upgrade to the following level:

Hi All,

I am a BW support consultant. My System is now in SP20 BI7.0. Now we are going to upgrade it as EHP1 package. Can any body tell me what will be a BW support front activity before and after upgrade is over,

In a simple way. What are the mile stones we need to check before and after the upgrade to ensure system consistency.

Hi Karthik,

We have upgraded our BW system from BW 7.00 SP16 to BW 7.01 SP3, We need to know the new functionalities that were expected of this enhancement when compared to the previous level so that we can see the readiness of the system. If you have any doc please share or else tell me where to look for those steps.

Hi,

I believe everything is looking good but i have only one concern regarding EHP1

as far as i know no need to bother abt kernel for EHP1.

you have mentioned Kernelupgrade 7.01 its not upgrade your going to replace kernel from 7.0 to 7.01.

the logic of EHP is if you gonna upgrade from 7.0 to EHP1 then EHP1 will change the kernel level to 7.01 thats wat the exact upgrade of Enhancement packages.

and as per your second query, your correct it seems SAP not released the SPAM update 34 for 700 release.

because we could see only 33 and 35 files in the below link.
