SAPscript - multiple characters

I thought you could use multiple characters within same line to get combinations...

<SS><B>Terms of delivery</></>

<SS> would do 8 HELVE and <B> would make it bold

It does not allow in SMARTFORMS and reverts back to just a single character markup

Hi Michael Hintergardt,

Let say u have a paragraph format SS with Times Roman and Size 10

<SS>Terms of delivery " this will print as Times Roman of size 10

Then define a character format like HB with Helve font size 8 and bold. then use it like

<SS> <HB>would do 8 HELVE and would make it bold <HB> " this will print in Helve font and in Bold

I did not mention that when changing text in SMARTFORMS it does not allow this. and removes to a single markup.

Make change to any text within SMARTFORM and more than a single mark up ... it will revert automatically and drops one of the two.... try it and review.
