Hi Experts,

the emails are not going out of SAP. It was working perfectly till yesterday and today all of sudden it stopped working and giving the error message 637. the long text is as follows.

Diagnosis

The message could not be delivered to recipient . A temporary error (such as the hard drive being full) has occurred in the processing of the communication system.

System Response

Processing was completed normally.

Additional information of the used node (if available, in the system language of the node):

451 Blocked - see http://www.spamcop.net/bl.shtml?

Procedure

Attempt to resend the message at a later time.

Please advise.

Thanks

Yogesh Gupta

Hi all,

To isolate the issue. Please cross check the below

1- Verify from the network team if the port for your mail server is OK or changed

2-Send a test mail (utilising the mailserver) and not from the SAP to ensure , if the issue is with the mailserver

3-If above both works fine, then please check the "node in use" is active in SCOT transaction, if not then please activate it.

I am having the same issue. Can you explain what was wrong with your mail host?

Yogesh, it seems to be some problem at SMTP server, check with your smtp team

I checked with them, according to them everything is ok.

And its working fine till yesterday, we didn't change anything on that.

Is there any possibility that emails are getting blocked by spamcop.

Thanks

Hi Yogesh

Is it really a tool or firewall you have in your landscape ?

Im really not sure or never heard like this before, if the error message is saying something about it, then even im not sure where you should check. May be firewall settings have been changed recently or some changes by your network team ..
