Customer Hierarchy

Hi,

What for customer hierarchies are used in SAP SD? Can anyone explain for which type of customers it is used? Its benefits?

Or give me some help file or website to know more about it.

For example, when you create a condition discount for a customer being a part of a hierarchy structure, all subnodes in the hierarchy below that node, will receive the same discount.

can you give me wider picture on this.

I have a chain of markets.... can I apply customer hierarchy on this.

some times i give offer to all markets under it and some times to particular or few markets.

So my concern is it advisable for me go with customer hierarchy in the above scenario?

Hierarchy must certainly be the way to deal with such issues, I am not sure of the ways of unchecking a few customer within a hierarchy.

Hello Ibrahim,

Yes you can make use of Customer Hierarchy for the Market Segregation for customers. Model one customer hierarchy in dev or test system assign the chain of customers depends on region or market.

In Customer Hierarchy you can go upto 26 levels to drill down the market segregation. This is the ideal to choose. Just let me know if you need more.
