Underline the Text

Hello Experts,

I want to underline text .Fomatted text view doesnot have any tag for it neither normal textview has any option. Please advice.

Hi,

well there is indeed no way to that in WebDynpro Design/Layout properties. Yet there is a way.

You will need to edit your style (or theme) to achieve that. In your MIME repository you will find a directory with all the style definitions. You will need to manipulate the css properties of your designs then you can use it in the Web Dynpro Views.

you will need the theme editor

You will need to take one design, let's say "emphasized" and change the css property to underlined, you will find some instructions on how to use css in the www.

sorry there is no easier way I came across so far

Try using uielement HorizontalGutter. Set the property height as small or rule height.

It will give an effect of underline.
