How to eliminate the popup "Choose a Digital Certificate" from EP?

Hi,

When I log to the portal and press the link to a WD (with no Adobe elements) I get a popup message saying: "Choose a Digital Certificate".

There are no certificates listed.

When I click the OK button the popup disappear and I can see my WD.

What do I need to do in order to not get this popup anymore?

Maybe you can share with us on the infrastructure of your EP.

Is your Portal confgured for SSL? Is the webdynpro called from within the EP or from another EP?

Java or Abap Web Dynpro?

Is there a ECC connected to EP via UME? JCO? ICM?

is the ECC on SSL?

Check with your basis guy if there any where that SSL is configured.

in Portal, tell your portal guy to run Visual Admin, under "services"->"SSL provider"->"runtime"->"dispatcher x xxx"->"client authentication", check that the "do not request client certificate" is checked.

in ECC, tell your basis guy to check the profiles in RZ10, check the value "icm/HTTPS/verify_client" and make sure it's set to "0".

remember all changes need to restart the SAP systems for it to take effect.
