Is there a better way to re-import adaptive web service model ?

Hello guys,

The last time I re-imported adaptive web service model, I followed this blog: /people/bertram.ganz/blog/2005/10/10/how-to-reimport-web-service-models-in-web-dynpro-for-java

It messed up the whole project and I had to start over. Can anybody let me know of a recent blog or a better way to re-import adaptive web service model.

The real question is the web service got changed and a new method is added, I need to use the new method in my DC. Is "reimporting the adaptive web service model" work in my situation?

Thanks

Srinivas

Hi

when you re-import adaptive webservice model , first thing is you have get the WSDL file and save it

in the Desktop as there are changed made in the webservice and when you re-import the

webservice you have to provide the new WSDL file and check the new changes that is , is any new

attribute being added or deleted , so you have to go to data modeler make the respective changes

and there is no need for server re-start , when compared to RFC re-import

Thanks
