Error Handling BDoc

The purpose is that I have to send a workitem into appropriate person SAP Inbox when ever there is an error BDoc.I was wondering whether SMW00 is the right transaction for that. If so can any one let me know how to configure SMW00.Thanks in advance

Hi,

Yes, SMW00 is the right transaction.

Here, you can use "Errro action for sepcifc BDoc type", execute and choose Configure button.

So based on Bdoc type or Error state, you can send mail to person's inbox. Also you can write your own workflow if needed.

Thanks for your answer.

I'm trying to configure SMW00.

I choose Error Action = Mail but I'm not getting any email (not in outlook nor in my inbox) for error BDOC's

Or should I use Error Action = workflow?

in that case its asking for

Event Object Type

Start Event

End Event.

Is there a standard Event Object Type , Start Event and End Event which I can use so that when ever there is a error bdoc a work item goes to the inbox of a particular person.

But I feel using Error Action = Mail would be easy.But I don't know why I'm not getting workitem in my in box when I use "Error Action = Mail".Is there any other configuration for mail?

Hi,

Please check whether the Inbox customizing is done. Also check whether transaction 'SCOTT' is configured for business workplace inbox mail handling.
