Hi,

I am tryingto create a contract for a item from a catalog. But the system is throwing up an error saying "No Authorization to create this condition record (see SU53)".

But how can I run SU53 from SRM 3.0 front end to run it in back end EBP 4.0 I donot know the Authorization object. I am doing it from the Sourcing ->Process contract link

Please suggest

regards

MRao

Hi MRao,

with the authority trace you can find out which activity check of which object has failed.

Just start the trace in the system where you get the authority message from in the way:

- Transaction ST01

- Flag the 'Authority check' option on the 'Trace Components tab'

- Go to the menu 'Edit' -> 'Filter' -> 'Shared' -> 'Trace for user only' (here fill the RFC user name)

- Activate the trace with 'Trace on'

- Execute the steps for triggering the authority problem

- Deactivate the trace with 'Trace off'

-> see the trace file, and check which authority activity failed (RC < > 0)

Hi,

You have to create the condition record in SAP R/3 (or) ECC 6.0 . not in SRM

please check your SAP MM people (or) better contact SAP BASIS persons.
