Hi Guys,

does anyone know if the Com.-Station from SAP is also available for UNIX machines?

In the Instguide i found the remark "A

Communication Station is a Windows 2000 based system with a Microsoft MTS (or

COM+) infrastructure."

Thanx and Regards,

Carsten

Thank you both!

Yes, the Inst-/Masterguide says "Windwos 2000 Server",

but the "PAM" thing is new to me.

But my question is answered.

Hi,

Commstation does not run on UNIX machines, only on Windows.

As you have found out 'A

Communication Station is a Windows 2000 based system with a Microsoft MTS'.

Hope it helps.

Hi Carsten,

I dont think it is possible on UNIX.

As the MSA Installation master guide, the prerequisite for Comm station is Microsoft WInodows NT enterprise or Microsoft Windows 2000 server.

Also microsoft .Net is one of the prerequisite.

Hi Carsten,

also have a look at http://service.sap.com/pam (Product Availability Matrix) which gives you the latest information about component availability.
