Hi,
I am new to this, but I want to change the way users log off from the portal, according to SAP note 696294:
ume.logoff.redirect.url=https://<Rev.proxy URL>/logout.html
..
then the logout.html kills the session. But where do I put the logout.html?
Hi Jorn,
Im not sure that I fully understand your question.
Have you tried entering a different valid URL and testing that?
It should be a case of just entering a URL and either setting the ume.logoff.redirect.silent property to TRUE or FALSE depending on your case.
Try using a simple URL to a news website or something to test that it works.
Cheers

Hi Jorn,
have you got the solution to your problem? The sap note 696294 doesn`t work with my portal server. After saving the following UME attribute, the system always puts a "/" in front of the ":". How sshould I write the value of ume.logoff.redirect.url correctly?
ume.logoff.redirect.url=https\://its-services.de.kworld.kpmg.com/myhomepage.htm
Your help will be highly appreciated as our company needs this solution badly.
Best regards
Tho

Hi Thi Tho,
We had the same issue when trying to configure the ume.logoff.redirect.url property, in that the portal inserted a "/" in front of the ":".
What version are you on?
Did you set the ume.logoff.redirect.silent = False
We are on EP6.0 SP16, and the "/" is still being inserted, but the redirect works.
Cheers
