LSMW Resons for failure?

Hi Guys,

Can LSMW fail even if we are trying to upload say like ten record?

eg If I am uploading 10 Asset master records , is there a chance of the LSMW getting failed ?

Even if you upload one record and your mappings are correct it wont fail.

I would recommend not to exceed 5000 records in a stretch.

If you do not map properly, it does not matter whether it is 1 record or 1000 records, it is bound to fail.

Sometimes, background processing does not work for some transactions, then you need to run in foreground.

Based on ou maping only it works,

you need to you get clear docs in google you may find out them. Screen by screen it describes.

If you mean LSMW failure due to greater number of records than can be supported at a moment, the answer is No.

If there is some other reason like Incorrect mapping of fields or in some other process of LSMW definition, then, yes.
