Problem extracting data from R/3 to BW using infopackage..

hi all,

I am trying to extract data from R/3 to BI7.0 through infopackage and its giving below error.

Request still running

Diagnosis

No errors found. The current process has probably not finished yet.

System Response

The ALE inbox of BI is identical to the ALE outbox of the source system

or

the maximum wait time for this request has not yet been exceeded

or

the background job has not yet finished in the source system.

Current status

No Idocs arrived from the source system.

in the details tab of the monitor here are the error details.

Extraction (messages): Missing messages

Missing message: Request received

Missing message: Number of sent records

Transfer (IDocs and TRFC): Missing messages or warnings

Request IDoc : sent, not arrived ; Data passed to port OK

When i extract data through DTP directly from the Datasource there is no problem, but we cannt extract deltas using that. what could be the problem?

please give me solution.

Ok you check the SM59 for RFC destination but Did you check the source system connection??.....RSA1--> Source System... right click ...test connection....sometimes theres some configuration failing here....

Hi Sathish,

Have you checked RFC between these systems? Also have a look at the ST22 short dumps.

See whether any job created in source system or not in SM37.

Yes i have checked RFC Connections in both the systems, and its working fine and the connection is fine and i am able to do remote login also.

It may be with Backgroud Processes. Make the request red and again reschedule it.

That's fine...have u checked in RSA1?

Right click on your source system in BW RSA1 and say check. Also try to restore this connection if u see any warnings.

What about Dumps...ST22?

You have to create partner profile for info Idocs. in WE20 I suppose. If you need detail configuration please search in SDN with key "Info IDOC Partner profile settings help"
