reversal of result recording

Dear QM Gurus,

I have one problem, i have enter result for a particular lot, but now i want that inspection plan attached for lot was not correct, now i want to reassign new plan to that lot. please guide.

Dear kailash,

After results recording and before ud, system will allow you only to change the results but if your condition is that after results recording you may want to assign a different quality plan , i don't think it is possible.

Dear kailash

If result recording has not been done then you can do this through resetting of sample and assigning the inspection plan again

1) Go to QA02

2) Menu > INspection lot > Reset Sample

3) Enter & Save

4) QA02

5) Inspection specification > Assign task list by click on Task/ specification

6) Go to Sample, do the SAmple calculation

7) Save

Once you have done the result recording and the result are confirmed it is difficult to reset the lot. Only if you can reset the sample then only the inspection plan can be attached again.

The work around can be

1) make the entered results invalid by going to the attribute.

2) If the correct inspection plan has complete copy mic add the same in the result recording screen ( RR > EDIT> Create Addition characteristic) and do the result recording again

But i want to assign another inspection plan to same inspection lot. Is this Possible?
