Deployment Problem

Hi all,

I am using NWDS 2.0.9 and connecting to 2 server on one server everything goes fine but when I change the settings for another server and try to deploy same project on that server it tries to pick the ear file from the temp folder instead of project folder and obviously it don't find the file there as it get created in project folder.

But same thing works fine on Server 1 with same project and same NWDS without changing any settings so I don't know where the problem is.

Any one has any idea in this issue.

Hi,

Rebuild the project (trigger DC build also if it is a DC project) & Create Archive.

Now for the application, choose option 'Deploy New Archive & Run'.

Can u plss tell what is the WAS for both the servers u r trying to deploy ?

Server which is working is EP 6.0

Server which is not working is EP7.0

but in my previous projects I have used same NWDS for EP 7.0 also

For WAS 7, it is recommended to use NWDS of version 7.0.9/11/15.....else u will face deployment issues like this.

We had faced lot many issues with deployment while upgrading from EP6 to EP7.

Hope it gets resolved once u use NWDS of version 7.0.9/11/15.

I have downloaded NWDS 7.0.11 and created a new test dynpro project that but there also it is giving same same error.

If any any body have any suggestion on this problem?
