Lost All NT User Account on System

Former Member

Hi

Half year ago, i have installed IDES on the new server. Everything is fine.

however i removed the Active Directory, ALL User has gone, so the SAP was unable to start. i tried to use as local system account to start the services. it works. i can see the welcome logon screen.

Unfortuantely, the i cannot pass the license. it seems that license services is not started.

Please Advise.

Thanks

Gordon

whats the error it is giving for license

actually you dont need to start any service for license, license has to be installed in SAP

Have you used <sid>adm user to start SAP,if not then start with <sid>adm user and it will be fine

yes you need to create both <sid>adm and SAPService<SID> users and make sure they are part of the administrator group and then start SAP with <sid>adm user

Hello start services with <sid>adm user only

Also make sure the environment variables are set for the user <sid>adm

refer to

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm32/helpdata/EN/2b/f8993af7700577e10000000a11402f/content.htm

for the variables to be set

your best shot is to try this:

move database file and SAP files into a new directory

re-install SAP from scratch

stop SAP and Oracle after installation.

place file back in original location

start Oracle and SAP

login as SAP* in client 000 and go into SLICENSE.

good luck.
