Hello All,
Am using .NET Connector 1st time. Watched the .SIM Tutor to check how can I retrieve data from R/3 using .NET.
Am using .NET Connector 1.0 & Visual Studio 2003.

Ive installed the SAP Proxy but while setting the connection I get this error:
" <b>Test Connection failed. Please correct connection settings. Error was: Open file 'C:\Windows\sapmsg.ini' failed</b> ".
1> When I navigated to 'C:\Windows' I did not find the sapmsg.ini file.
2> Then I searched for this eror on SDN itsrlf and found this post:
As per this post, I know the application server IP and its all un-load balanced entry.
So what different am I supposed to do?
Please help....

1. It seems that you are using version 1.x of the connector. I recommend that you use the current 2.0.1 instead. Note the the usage is sometimes different from the tutorial. Please read the FAQ that is available at the same place where NCo 2.0 is dowloaded.
2. Use custom logon settings with
- Application Server
- System Number
- Client
- User
- Password

Ive installaed and started to use .NET Connector 2.0.1
Am following instrcutions as given in the FAQ.
Have added the required details for Application Server in the Server Explorer but when click on BOR & Functions subfolders, I get an error saying "Open file <i><b>"C:\WINNT\sapmsg.ini' failed</b></i>"
Please help me proceed........
