Authorization for RFC generation in SMSY for user in satellite system?

Hi all,

I am looking for the authorization the user in the satellite system needs while the RFC is generated automatically via SMSY in SolMan.

For automatic RFC generation I have to log on in the satellite system to create the back connection and to create the solman users etc..

Does anyone have some information about that?

S_RFC and S_RFCACL should be there for the user.

Hi Alex

User should have admin authorizations, you can give it sap_all and can make it a communication type user. But those two specific authorizations are also required as those are not covered under sap_all

ok, with sap_all I can do everything.

But what authorization do I need exactly if I can not use the profil sap_all?

take a look into OSS 492908 for the authorizations needed for RFC creation.

Depends on what actions you want to be able to perform remotely over trusted RFC.

In any case you need an identical username in both SolMan and Satellite system.

Both need authorization S_RFCACL and S_RFC to be created in role Z_S_RFCACL.
