SAProuter software requirements

Hi everybody,

I am fairly new to the SAP universe.

I want to install SAProuters on Windows servers. Are there any software requirements prior to my installation of the SAP packages?

My objective was to install in under Windows Server 2008 32 bits Entreprise Edition to be similar to the rest of my servers. Are there any prerequisites for this OS? Will it be OK? I did not find any software requirement for this component on help.sap.com. Please forgive me if this is a dumb question

no question is dumb dude

well a windows server 2008 is enough for SAP Router installation,you dont require anything else

Will it work with every edition of Windows Server 2008 (eg x86/x64, Standard, Entreprise)?

The saprouter is treated as any other part of the kernel. So hence:

Windows 2008 is only supported as 64bit platform since it's not supported as 32bit OS in the SAP environment.
