Position and Personnel areas have different Controlling areas.

When I try to Hire an Employee, Iam getting the below error in Actions Infotype.

Position and Personnel areas have different Controlling areas.

What could be the reason ?

Go to Enterprise structure-> Assignment->Controlling->Assign company code to Controlling area

Check the for whcich controlling area you have assigned your company code

Now go to PP01 and eneter the position that apperas in the action and seelct the acct. Assignment features and display.....

There company code and controlling area is different with the above node.

correct them and i hope your issue will resolved.

Check the assignment of Cost Center & Controlling Area with that Org unit for which position is assigned ..
