Distributed System installation

Hi,

We have now netweaver 2004s system - AIX 5.3 with oracle 10.2.0.2 - DB+Central instance on one server.

we would like to add additioan serer - Linux and change the configuration to a distributed system - the DB instance will be on the Linux and the Central instance will be on the AIX system - what is the procedure for doing this?

please notice that this is not a new installation from scratch but a system configuration change

would i have to do a new scratch installation

please advise

I think you need to do a Heterogeneous system copy and choose Distributed installation when redeploying.
