Hi Guys,
When I am exporting records in Data Manager to Excel Sheet. I am can export Records. in That I am not able to see Key for that particular record.
How can I Export that Key along with other fields?
Thanks
Ravi
Ravi,
I guess you are praticing MDM. While you are improting the data you forgot to change the remote system during the import.
reImport all the data by specifying respective remote system while doing the import of data through import manager and also make sure that Key Mapping for the table is set to "Yes".
Once the data is uploaded into MDM try to export it to see remote key and remote system this will fix the problem else please let us know.
Thanks

Hi Ravi,
As far as I know, MDM doesnt add any row to the Excel file that you export from the Data manager. It will contain all the records( selected/all) for all the fields you select in the export to Excel option. So in my view you cant get any additional key for the exported records.
For Exporting into Access, MDM adds to each table a first column named u201CRowu201D that contains the row number so that corresponding records in each table can be easily correlated.
For exporting into Excel, you can use the Primary key of your table ( Unique field ) in your reposiotry such as Material Number for example as your Key which you can use as a Key.
I don't think we have an option of generating any key while exporting into Excel.
Hope it helps.
Thanks and Regards

Hi Ravi,
To export the remote keys into the excel thru data manger, in the pop up window "Export to Excel" select the "Remote System Details" under Fields tab.
This will give the option to select the remote system and remote key also along with other fields.
I hope this is what you are asking in your question.

Hi Ravi,
You need to perform 2 things:
1. Select the Remote system details check box under the Field detail. ( Think you are already doing that).
2. Under the available fields options in the same dialog box, you need to select the 2 fields- [Remote System] and [Remote key]. They store the key mapping information.
After doing these 2 settings, you should be able to export the key mapping info into an Excel,
Thank and Regards
