Value help for BI query Field in Input Form

Hi folks,

I have a iView in VC based on Bi query , in the Input Form of the query there is a Field Division (0division in BI),

I want to provide Value help for this field but in data service i have only 2 option to populate values 1) BI query

and 2) Bi view

Is there any way to get the values directly from the master data 0division

do i have to create queries for fetching values for every Field ?

Hi Sonal

You can try on ething. If you add that field in 'free characteristics' in BI query you will get values from its master data table in VC. After doing this go to 'Add value Help' for that field. Then open the BI query & select that characteristic. There it asks for options - 1. Values from Master data & 2. Values from Diamention table. Select what you want & you will get these values in 'Value Help'

I think this will solve your problem & this is what you are looking for.

Hi Sonal,

You can do Master Data via BI Query. For example you can build a query with only 0DIVISION or even you a general query. Don't forget that your result in your query must be Master Data.
