Dear Friends,

1.The RG1 register gets updated after Goods Issue. For trading ideally the RG1 should not get updated. Do we need to have a separate Distribution channel for Trading (Currently we have two Dist channels - Domestic and Export) or simply can we manage with the Itemcategory TAB/TAS.If this is the case doesnt the the RG1 gets updated?

2.Are we giving anywhere what are the movement types for triggering the RG1?

3. Whats the purpose of the JASS condition type in the pricing procedure - Factort sale?Is this condition type madatory?

1. There is a Relationship between movement type and the RG1. and RG1 with material type ( RG1/ Raw/Tools which you define in J1ID or in Material master - Foreign Trade screen)

2. JASS is the assesable value for Excise Determination. Incase your assesable value for excise is not in direct relationship with your price ( Like E1 Sales ) , you can use it. Most of the cases , Price - Discount is the assesable value for the excise.

Hi Movement types specific to RG1 are maintained in customization, spro>log gen>tax on goods movement>india>business transaction>incoming ex inv>speicify which movement type involves excise invoices.

And regarding the Jass value in pricing, the value of this condition type is equal to the EXBAS value in the EXCISE DETAIL table.

Yes, surely RG1 not get updated & these should hit 'RG23D' register.

Better to have diff DC for trading purpose.Use BANS itemcat.

You should declare plant as 'Sales Depot' at customization.
