I know about the whole refurbishment order process. What I needed to know about was that if i enter negative quantity for a Stock material in my maintenance order? What does that signify? Is that an alternative to the refurbishment process? Any Help material on this would be more than appreciated.
in refurbishment process you are returning the mateiral to store using movement 101 ie goods reciept to stores whereas 262 is reversal of goods issue ,if you have done the goods reciept then further settlement your material value will increase
if you specify the qty of material as -ve ,then you can return the material to the store,you can also check in the component detail where the movement type will be 262 ,but it does not relate with normal refurbishment process.
