Hi

In LO need to delete and Re-fill the Setup tables,f ro that do i need to stop V3 collector job in SAP R/3.

Please advice.

The steps for LO Cockpit extractors are as follows:

1 Stop V3 (LBWE)

2 Delete SetUp table (LBWG)

3 FillUp the SetUp table for application.

4 Create ODS

5 Create Update Rules for ODS

6 Initialization

7 Start V3

8 Load Data (Create InfoPackage)

Hi,

Go to LBWG tcode and give application and delete the setup tables.

First stop the job in R/3 and then delete setuptables and then fill again.

Hi,

It is always good(compulsary also) to stop the V3 jobs at the time of filling setup table until Delta initialization is over.

If the V3 job is executed at the time of filling there will be no chance of loosing records. BUT

If the V3 job is executed before the delta initialization has been done successfully , you will definatelyloose the records.So it is compulsary to stop the V3 jobs between after the filling of setup table and completion of Delta initialization .

Hi Sai,

It is recommended to stop all the jobs and transaction posting while filling up the setup tables.

Hi,

It would be better if you have stopped the Transactions in R/3 before collecting the data records in the SetUp Tables.

Cause it may happen that it may take longer than expected time and it may also happen that it may not record the correct info some times.

Better to execute them after all the transactions are stopped and then complete the filling up of the SetUp Tables.
