MRP Indicators V/s manual excise amount change in J1iex

Hi ,

We have MRP indicator functaionlity available in j1iex to handle Trader purchases ( in this case we need to attached a tax code for which 0 percentage has been defined for excise conditions and 100% for set off) , IN THIS CASE system doestn't allow me to change the excise amounts in J1iex without checking MRP indicator.

But SAP also gives flexibility to change excise amount in j1iex (if Tax percentage in of excise condn is defined > 0 for tax code ) without checking MRP indicator.

My question is ...... what is the problem if attached a TAX code with defined percentage in PO and make required corrections of excise duties at the time of J1iex.

you can simulate the same in your development server if its succeed use the method for your production also

I dont think there will be problem in SAP postings ....

But there could be a business problem ... because in this case PO value will never be matched with Amount payable to Vendor , although Inventory balances will be adjusted at the the time of MIRO.
