Do we need to create Delivery in the Third Party transfer
Hi
Third process itself doesnt involve delivery from our side
Upon saving the sales order a PR is created and then that PR is converted to PO and then the vendor delivers the goods to our customer and gives us the invoice we do MIRO then create customer invoice
This is third party process with item category TAS and schedule line category CS and billing relevance as F and item category group of this material in MMR is BANS
Doing a MIGO here is optional but MIRO is must
This is the real third party
and
There is another process which is similar to third party that is called individual purchase order and many friends confuse that with third party
In individual purchase order we get a sales order from our customer
Up on saving the sales order a PR is created and then that PR is converted to PO and sent to a vendor
Now the vendor delivers the goods to us we do migo and then deliver to our customer
This is process with item category TAB and schedule line category CB and billing relevance as A and item category group of this material in MMR is BANC
We manage this stocks as sales order stocks
Hence item category TAB is marked with special stock indicator E

Hello
that depends on the process, if you follow a process where vendor sends directly to your customer, then no delivery is required
if you take the goods recipt , the you need to do delivery and PGI
hope this helps
Thanks
