Reg: Output device for ADS

Hi,

Using transaction SFP while executing the form the following problem occurs for the print view:

Device type unsuitable for ADS(Adobe Document Services) documents

Message no. SPADS011

In my case the device which I have used is local printer(%L01).

So not able to see the print view in adobe.

Please help.

Hi Vishal,

Only specific device types are supported by ADS.

Go to SPAD transaction and change the device type of the printer '%L01' to any one the following device types . Or select some other printer with these device types.

POST2 - PostScript

HPLJ4 - PCL black and white

HP9500 - PCL color

PDF1 - PDF

AZPL203 - ZPL (Zebra label printing)

AZPL300 - ZPL (Zebra label printing)
