Dear pravin, in my understanding, If the status is inactive, then the BOM will be excluded from the explosion. So please check the Bom status again or check your question again..

Kartik,

I have checked its working as u said. but when it goes to the down the level

Like A is having B & C child parts among which B is having phantom assembly and Inactive at that time during backflush ( A - assembly ) system promts message as No valid bom available.

Dear Pravin

A BOM containing BOM status 2 will not be considered for any business process in general.

It will not be pciked during MRP run or so.

Now come back with your queries.

Dear Pravin,

Do you mean to say A is the header assembly.

It has B and C as the components, wherein B is a phantom assembly.

Now while trying to backflush for A in MFBF,the system says that no valid BOM available.

Is this your problem?

Dear Pravin,

Do you mean to say if the BOM status is 2 inactive in the BOM header for a phantom assembly, will the

components be allowed to backflush?

Is this your query?
