Client copy for PI

I just did a installation of PI 7.10. This system will be used as the "Development" system.

Is there any advantage in having a separate client for integration server? i.e should I do a client copy or work in client 001 itself?

I think you can work on same client(001). However you can also copy the client and use new client.

If you are going for second option then also apply the sap note

Hi Gokul,

Clients 000, 001 and 066 are standard clients that are pre-delivered by SAP. These clients are not supposed to be used in development, quality and production environments. So I would recommended to copy it and use for development.
