LSMW , update project status...

HI All,

We have a lot of old projects to close in PRD.

I designed LSMW , (t code CJ02 ) to do this.

However when i am testing in QA , the projects are closed but many other fields changed like project description , person responsible etc. They were all replaced by the project used for recording.

We are using SAP 4.6 c and LSMW version 1.7.1

Please let me know if anyone has faced this problem before.

Check your LSMW project in "Maintain Field Mapping and Conversion Rules" and "Maintain Fixed Values, Translations, User-Defined Routines" to be sure that you do not have any default, fixed or constant values. Also check the recording under "Maintain Object Attributes" to make sure all the default values have been removed unless they apply for all your PS projects.

Thanks for the reply..

I have checked

Maintain filed mapping : i have mapped the project defnition to the value in the excel sheet

other than this i do not see any other thing

maintain fixed values, translation : There is nothing in here too.

Paul , you were right on the maintain attributes thing.

In the recording it had lot of other fields , after deleting them we ran LSMW and it only changed status of project.
