HI,

I want to know how can we maintain the versions of Universes, WebI reports, Crystal Reports , Live office and Xcelsuis Presentations?

Currently based on our project requirment the platform used is SAP BW, on which the OLAP universes are built.

We need to create WebI reports on which we create Xclesuis Dashboard using Live office or QaaWS.

Based on the above requirment can any one suggest about the maintainace of different versions of all above mentioned documents...

When you save a universe, you save the version of the universe on the file system. This is not the same as exporting the universe to the repository. When you export a universe, the version in the Central Management System (CMS) is updated. This is the version that replaces the file system version when you import the universe.

You will have to maintain the version of universe at your local pc

WEBI , DESKI make separat objects as per the version
