How to Deploy Primavera Adapter on 7.1 WAS

Hi SDNers

We have PI System 7.10.

We want to deploy the PrimaveraAdapter.sca file on PI server .

1) SDM option is not available in 7.1 Systems, so how should i deploy it?

2) Initially i want to undeploy previously deployed Primavera Adapter too, but dunno how??

Hi SDNers

For users facing same issue as mine:

1. You can undeploy the already installed .sca in 7.1 from NWDS CE7.1

as JSPM doesnt have any undeploy option and SDM is not available in 7.1.

2. For deploying u can use either use NWDS 7.1 or JSPM.

*JSPM is preferred coz it makes server to restart automatically however if u deploy via NWDS, u ll have to manually restart the server. Choice is urz..

You can undeploy any deployed SCA using NWDS.

Do u have any documentation that You can undeploy any deployed SCA using NWDS.... In PI Server........

Do we need PCk for that ........

In NWDS you can maintain the connected J2EE server name(IP and SID). Give the info abt your PI server

Also in NWDS, you will have deploy perspective. Swtich to deploy and undeploy perspective.

In undeploy perspective you will see all the deployed components. Select the component to be undployed. And click on start undeployment.

In deploy perspective, you can choose deployable units from ur pc and the click start deployment.

To do all these you need user J2EE_ADMIN.

No need to have PCK.

in PI 7.1 you have to deploy it using JSPM , there is a JSPM deployment guide available on sdn..you can search it, and you can also ask to adapter provider/vendor for installation guide.
