Hi,

users are able to report on BW reports using BW browser (i.e SAP business Explorer). Running the same report using excel/Analyser returns 'no authorisation errors.'

Hana,

Check if the user has access to the correponding RFC. (auth obj S_RFC).

Trace the authorizations with the ST01.

hi. yes this auth object is included for the user but the report still returns 'no authorisation' in SAP business analyser (excel)

for S_RFC , ref_name: RFC1, RRMX, RRY1, RSAH, RSMENU, RZX0, SM02, SMHB, SRFC, SUSO, SYST are included

Are you sure the report executed is the same one?

Check also if the user has the corresponding authorization analysis.

yes the same report can be executed using same userid and criteria in browser.

s_rfc object is there for the user. Am checking to see what /if any analysis auths may be missing or auths required for BI7......
