TODAY() prompt in schedule

Hi All,

Maybe some one resolve this and can help me.

I need to schedule a report with today date, every day I need the report runs with the today date.

My report has a date prompt (it's a BW variable), the user every day execute the report and insert today date.

Hi Frederico,

which tool are you using ? and whats the connectivity ?

In case it is a BI query you could use a SAP EXIT Variable for the characteristic.

Hi Ingo,

I'm using WEBI, it's a document with 5 diffrent prompt. (BOBJ XI 3.1 fix pack 1.2)

The universe is a SAP BW universe, is base on a query. (SAP BI 7.0)

Any otjer solution if we can't create the SAP Exit?

why can you not use the SAP EXIT ?

Hi Ingo,

It's not a must, it's only because we have many EXITs in the date and other and modify that is complicated.

Hi,

don't think there is an easy solution right now. the best bet would be to use an EXIT variable for that.
