Possibility of SAP PI 7.1

Hi All,

Is it possible to integrate SAP AutoId and R/3 System using SAP PI 7.1?

Scenario: SAP AutoId -> SAP PI 7.1 -> R/3 System.

SAP AUTO ID is a part of SAP Netweaver.....you can integrate it using PI 7.1 (or XI) with more ease

As ravi mentioned you can communicate using IDOC....some special ones...

just google for SAP AUTO ID + SAP XI and you will find the answer to most of your Qs...

Hi,

Yes. This is the possible solution to integrate more than one warehouse to R/3.

SAP AII (1 to n Warehouse installation) ---> SAP PI 7.1 ---> R/3 System.

Hi sara,

It depends upon what type of interfacing mechanism SAP AUTO ID supports.

Can it send the data in the form of IDOCs(Since it is an SAP product)?

Or can it send data in the form of XML packets?

Based on how SAP AUTO ID sends the data, we can chose the adapter at our source side.
