Could anyone please let me know,if there's any role like "Commodity Manager- approves content update/addition" and "Purchaser Role"available in SRM-MDM catalog. As per my knowledge below are the only roles available in SRM-MDM:
Catalog Manager
Catalog Content Approver
Administrator
User Interface (UI) Configuration Manager
External Integration
Catalog User
As per my understanding, the Catalog Content Approver role can be used as "Commodity Manager". If not,do i need to create custom
role and how.

Hi SK,
for approving you can use the role Catalog Content Approver as you wrote.
For catalog search and shop the standard role Catalog User can be used.
But if you need an additional role, you can create this in the Console under the Admin -> Roles path.
By selecting a Role at the bottom you will see the Detail, Function and Tables and Fields, where you can customize your own role.
