Hi Srinivas,

I have faced this problem many times. Most of the times I was able to resolve this by refering to the excllent blog by Shabarish Vijayakumar - https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/3148. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]

But last time I was not able to resolve this issue even after refering this blog...I simply installed j2sdk-1_4_2_* over the previous installation. This worked for me

Hi,

Please check the Proxy settings in jawas.exe-->network settings. Choose None instead of HTTP Proxy settings. I beleive U added in ur drivers/etc/hosts file the IP address agains the hostname.

Thanks.

Vineetha.

same problem solved here:

goto start --> run --> cmd --> ping <IPAddress / hostname>

This will confirm whether you can connect to the XI server or not

Hi,

I think you have to download the mentioned jar file and manually put in the webstart folder.

Thanks,

Tiny
