Hi Experts,

i created a generic extractor and tested in rsa3, it works fine, i created transfer rules and update rules and when i try to load the data i get an error infoobject xxx doesnot contain alpha confirming value, the field size in r/3 is 30 and my info object field is 20 but all the contents of the info object will be less than 20, why do i still get the error, how can i fix it??

Thank YOu,

shetty.

Hi Shetty,

Goto transfer rules -> DataStructute/Transfer Str and for the info-object for which you get this error check the conversion checkbox (it would be at the end of the row)and then reload.

Bye

Shetty

Go to RSD1 and choose your Infoobject and go to change Mode. In the general tab conversion routne choose ALPHA and activate the Info Object and extract data again.

Hope this helps
