hi i am looking for a Function module which will give me the list of persons on a particular position. If any has come across any FM like that, please let me know.

try this function module, this may help you

Get the persons to a position

--> <b>RH_GET_PERSONS_FROM_POSITION</b>

try this FM also RH_PM_SHOW_PERSONS_POSITIONS
